Maison 'Les Rosiers'

The smaller 'second' bedroom is a lovely peaceful room painted with 'papyrus' from Fired Earth. Developed by the Greeks this colour was used in mediæval Europe for manuscripts. It is a light, subtle and slightly weathered tint giving the bedroom a very natural relaxed atmosphere.

The room benefits from a classical French old-fashioned 4ft wooden sleigh bed, which is classed as either a large single or a small double. The room has a lovely window with a window seat, plus a skylight over the bed which lets lots of light into the room. There is a built in cupboard/wardrobe, a bedside table with lamp, a chest with drawers, and a xxxx.
For warmth in winter there is an eco-electric heater on the wall, and the room is well insulated.
